It takes grit and resiliency to pursue an endeavor. Everyday, people in our community work toward big-picture goals that extend far beyond themselves. Many of these goals are longer term objectives that cannot be accomplished in the near future.

These individuals are patient and persistent.

They have the stamina to overcome struggles and setbacks.

They create time and space to cultivate their visions for the future.

They aren’t afraid to call upon their communities for support.

They see a project to its fruition and strive to make it flourish.

They spur those around them to discover and pursue their own endeavors.

Endeavor With Us
TEDxMtHood 2016 will feature individuals who have undertaken great endeavors in their lives, intentionally pursuing goals beyond themselves with support from their communities.

Their goals may be personal or professional, community-based or international. No matter what, these individuals show up and give a  damn day after day, and their lives are made  all the richer.

Many endeavors began as humble ideas. Step by step, action by action, what once seemed a far-off dream suddenly came into the realm of possibility. Some people spend their entire lives focused on a single endeavor and never quite grasp it, while others complete multiple endeavors within shorter spans of their lives.

We often focus on the outcome, but it’s the ongoing dedication and commitment, the action and persistence, that marks a true endeavor.  We celebrate and champion this tireless work.

At the heart of TEDxMtHood is a sense of community, and rarely do people accomplish endeavors alone. Through connections and support, endeavors take shape. A community helps to transform an endeavor into lasting progress

What will be your next great endeavor? From whom will you seek support on your journey? Gain inspiration at our June 18 event.
